The Jacob Beats Prostate Cancer project faced several challenges that required strategic planning and execution. Working under tight deadlines demanded efficient coordination to deliver a high-quality, impactful landing page.

Story Behind the JBPC Landing Page

The journey to tell his

story

Jacob, a talented film director and producer, found himself on a deeply personal journey of battling prostate cancer. His vision extended beyond his own health challenges—he wanted to share his story to inspire others and build awareness about the importance of wellness and early detection. Recognizing the need for support to kickstart a pilot project documenting his journey, Jacob decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign.

Landing page

The vision for the Jacob Beats Prostate Cancer landing page was to create a compelling and impactful platform that effectively shared Jacob’s personal story. The client sought a clear and concise layout that was easy to navigate, eliminating unnecessary elements to keep the focus on the message and calls-to-action.

Wire frames

Using feedback from the mid-fidelity testing, a High-Fidelity prototype was created. The focus was on reworking common issues users encountered in Movie selection, Show time and date information, and Accessible seating.

Landing Page

The Jacob Beats Prostate Cancer landing page emphasizes a clean, user-friendly design that balances visuals and text. The hero section features a prominent video and supporting text to introduce Jacob’s story and the campaign’s purpose.

Information & About

The aim was to establish a clear visual hierarchy  to help users quickly scan the page and understand the relative importance of the information.

Information and E Book Sale

The imagery was repositioned to the right side of the screen to shift the focus toward the important information Additionally, a button was added at the bottom of the screen to provide a clear and intuitive call-to-action.

Landing Page

The Final design draws  visitors' attention to Jacob’s inspiring story, by directing viewers to the call to action while text below provides context to who jacob is and more information about him.

Conclusion:

While the Jacob Beats Prostate Cancer landing page is focused on sharing Jacob’s journey, my goal for this design was also to create a platform where visitors could learn more about Jacob's story, the importance of his mission The landing page was designed to inspire, foster an emotional connection, Visiters to learn more.
